What you’ll learn in the workshop
"Que no te lien: 5 nudos para el día a día" is a hands-on workshop organised by the self-managed space baix, teaching five basic knots with applications in urban camping, emergencies, or daily life. According to the collective, mastering these techniques enhances autonomy and safety in contexts like protests, travel, or home repairs. The workshop is open to all levels: no prior experience with ropes or personal materials is required.
Who’s leading the workshop
The workshop is led by Javi Aula, a diver and member of baix, specialising in rope techniques. The space highlights his experience in environments where knots are critical, such as diving or climbing, and his practical approach to sharing knowledge useful in real-life situations. There’s no limit on places, but booking is recommended to secure a spot.
Schedule and contribution
The workshop takes place on Thursday 22 October 2026, from 18:30 to 20:00, at baix (Carrer de l'Humanista Mariner, 3). Entry is on a voluntary contribution basis, with funds supporting housing movements in Valencia. Refreshments are available at affordable prices during the event.
