What is Pintores en escena
Pintores en escena is an original event by Nave3 Ribes that brings the artistic process directly to the public in an intimate, engaging, and participatory way. Unlike traditional exhibitions where finished paintings hang on walls, this event invites you to witness art as it unfolds.
On the morning of 28 November, several artists will work live at the cultural centre, each creating their own piece. Visitors can move freely among them, observing up close how a painting comes to life—the decisions each artist makes, the techniques they use, the materials they work with, and everything that happens throughout the creative process.
What the activity includes
Pintores en escena concludes with a shared aperitif with the participating artists. This relaxed setting is designed for conversation, allowing attendees to learn about the artists’ careers and discover the different ways each one approaches and experiences painting.
This combination of live painting and informal discussion makes the experience appealing both to those who paint or study art and want to explore new working methods, as well as to anyone simply curious about what lies behind a finished artwork.
Where it takes place
The event is held at the Municipal Cultural Centre Nave3 Ribes, located on Calle Filipinas within Valencia’s Parc Central. The centre hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year, and this is one of its own productions.
