What is the MotoGP Gran Premi de València 2026
The MotoGP Gran Premi de València 2026 is the final round of the MotoGP World Championship and one of Spain’s largest sporting events. From 27 to 29 November, Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste will host free practice sessions, qualifying, and the final race on Sunday, 29 November. According to organisers, over 100,000 spectators will fill the circuit to watch top riders in the premier class, including Marc Márquez, Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo, and Jorge Martín, alongside rising stars like Pedro Acosta.
Schedule and timetable
The event spans three days. Friday, 27 November, and Saturday, 28 November, are dedicated to free practice and qualifying, which determines the starting grid for the race. Sunday, 29 November, is the highlight: Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP races take place, with the premier class lasting approximately 45 minutes, as per the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) regulations. The detailed timetable for each session is published on the official event website a few days prior.
Ticket types and circuit zones
Tickets are divided by grandstands, each offering views of different sections of the 4.005-kilometre track. The most popular options include:
- Grandstand Blanca and Roja: located at the finish line, with a direct view of the start and first corner.
- Grandstand Verde and Azul: in the high-speed corner section, ideal for overtaking manoeuvres.
- Grandstand Amarilla and Naranja: opposite the finish line, offering a perspective of the most technical corners.
- VIP Hospitality (Orange Lounge): includes paddock access, pit lane tours, catering, and meet-and-greets with riders.
All tickets grant access to all three days of the event. Sales are handled via the official ticket platform, with options for home printing or collection at the box office. According to circuit rules, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is cancelled.
Access and spectator guidelines
The circuit allows access to all common areas with a valid ticket but prohibits large items, professional cameras, or flags larger than 2x1.5 metres. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For visitors with reduced mobility, the circuit reserves specific areas in each grandstand, with priority access.
