Exploring the secrets of Lohengrin
The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía wraps up its 2026 Una mañana con… series with a session dedicated to Lohengrin, Richard Wagner’s opera. What’s included in the activity?
Over 90 minutes, attendees will discover the professions that bring an opera production to life:
- Design and construction: Scenery, costumes, and props, with practical examples from the Lohengrin production.
- Musical performance: The Orquesta de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV) and lead singers will perform key excerpts from the opera, including the Act I prelude and the «Bridal Chorus», with real-time subtitles.
- Interactive workshop: Participants can try basic vocal and breathing exercises, guided by Palau professionals.
