Who’s performing: Micah P. Hinson
Micah P. Hinson is a standout figure in American alternative folk, renowned for his raw, deep voice, often compared to legends like Leonard Cohen or Johnny Cash. Born in Memphis and raised in Texas, his artistic journey has been defined by an intense vitality that shines through in every release. Since his 2004 debut, Micah P. Hinson and the Gospel of Progress, he has built a discography celebrated for its authenticity and ability to turn personal experiences into universal music.
In recent years, Hinson has embarked on a new creative phase, focusing on the present and the serenity that comes with time. This shift is evident in his latest album, The Tomorrow Man, where he retains his acoustic essence but adds layers of reflection through a more mature sound. Now splitting his time between Spain and Texas, this Valencia concert is a chance to experience his artistic evolution live.
