What to expect at the concert
María del Mar Bonet presents her album L’aigua no cansa at La Rambleta, a work celebrating 60 years of career dedicated to Mediterranean traditional music, poetry, and song. The setlist will combine nine new tracks—as previewed on the album’s Spotify—with timeless classics from her career, paying tribute to her bond with Mallorca and the Mediterranean. The artist will perform alongside the musicians who recorded the album: Toni Pastor (lute), Marc Grasas (guitar), Marko Lohikari (double bass), José Llorach (percussion), and Benjamí Salom (violin), plus Gori Matas on piano.
Who’s performing and what the show is like
María del Mar Bonet—voice, guitar, and cuatro—leads a concert described on her official website as a «feliç comunió amb l’illa que la va veure néixer» (a joyful communion with the island that saw her birth). The staging will feature lighting design by Roger Puiggener and sound engineering by Mateu Martínez, with production by Laura Magrinyà. The intimate, acoustic format highlights the essence of her music: poetic lyrics and melodies rooted in Balearic and Catalan tradition.
