What’s showing
«La violinista» is the first animated feature film with Valencian participation to win the Cristal Award for Best Feature Film at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026. Directed by Raúl García, the film follows a journalist’s investigation into the origins of a violin, leading him to Singapore in 1941. There, he uncovers the story of Kai and Fei, two young violinists whose dreams are shattered by the Japanese invasion during World War II. Fei, now a renowned violinist, keeps hope alive for twenty years of reuniting with Kai.
