What’s being performed
«La función» is a theatrical play set in a dressing room, where two actors, Flor and Toni, prepare to go on stage while waiting for Joan, their colleague. Amid jokes, makeup, and memories, tensions and past wounds surface, testing their bond. The plot explores the line between reality and fiction, portraying theatre as both a craft and a way of life. Described as an emotional story, it reflects on how to move forward when plans go awry.
Who’s performing
The play features three characters: Flor, Toni, and Joan, though the latter doesn’t appear on stage until the finale. The names of the actors and the company responsible are not listed in available sources. Sporting Club Russafa, the venue hosting the performance, is known for programming theatre, dance, and literary events in an intimate setting.
Schedule and duration
The only confirmed performance is on Friday, 29 May 2026 at 19:30. The runtime isn’t specified, but the closed-room format and theme suggest a piece lasting roughly 70–90 minutes without an interval, typical for small-scale theatrical productions.
