What is La Cupleteira
La Cupleteira is a cuplé and cabaret show headlined by La Bella Vampi, returning to her most classic and cupletista side with an intimate live piano-and-voice format. The repertoire spans some of the greatest hits in cuplé history—a light, risqué song genre that dominated Spanish stages in the early 20th century.
The performance goes beyond songs: between acts, you’ll enjoy monologues, recitals, and guest artists, creating a full cabaret experience for the evening.
The atmosphere it recreates
La Cupleteira transports audiences to the 1920s, framing the night as a secret cabaret soirée with nods to smoke, clandestinity, and sicalipsis—the era’s term for the playful eroticism that defined many cuplé performances. The goal is to rediscover, relive, and celebrate a time when cuplé was synonymous with scandal, desire, and freedom on stage.
