What is «Hijo de la Luna»
«Hijo de la Luna» is the tribute concert to Mecano that Robin Torres brings to Valencia after nine years on tour and over 300 performances across Spain and Latin America. The show focuses on the album «Descanso Dominical», Mecano’s best-selling record and the one that cemented their legendary status. The performance includes 20 songs from the repertoire, from «Mujer contra mujer» to «La fuerza del destino», with completely renewed choreography and costumes, plus a staging that recreates the atmosphere of Mecano’s massive concerts.
Who’s performing
The star is Robin Torres, the singer and leader of the project, accompanied by a live band and dancers. Torres, known for his ability to emulate Ana Torroja’s vocal style, heads a production that critics have called «the best Mecano tribute out there». The artistic team has crafted a show combining projections, dynamic lighting, and choreographed movements to transport the audience back to the 80s and 90s.
