What is «Esports al Barri»
«Esports al Barri 2026 – Patraix» is a free sports day organised by the Fundación Deportiva Municipal, bringing physical activities to Valencia’s neighbourhoods. This edition features areas in Plaza de Patraix for trying hockey and other sports, designed for participants of all ages. The event is part of a programme that visits different districts, promoting sport as a community and accessible activity.
Schedule and activities
The event takes place on 19 December 2026, from 11:00 to 14:00. Based on previous editions, the sports areas will be available throughout the day, allowing attendees to try disciplines without prior registration. There’s no competition—just free participation and enjoyment of sport in a local setting.
Access and requirements
The activity is free and requires no booking. It’s open to all ages. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and footwear for sports. It’s unclear whether equipment will be provided, so bringing your own is recommended if needed.
