What is the dramatic reading club
The dramatic reading club for «Los que comen tierra» analyses the text by Mafalda Bellido Monterde, born from the I Laboratorio de Dramaturgia Ínsula Dramataria Josep Lluís Sirera, organised by the Institut Valencià de Cultura. The play explores three perspectives on the same event—rest, the wait for family remains, and execution—set in a mass grave. The session is led by Isabel Caballero and the author herself, Mafalda Bellido, and is aimed at audiences over 18.
Who is taking part
The activity is run by Isabel Caballero and Mafalda Bellido Monterde, the author of the text. Bellido developed the work during the IVC’s dramaturgical laboratory, and its staging has previously featured direction by Sergio Serrano and performances by Lola López, Ernesto Pastor, Begoña Tena, and Jorge Valle. However, this reading focuses on text analysis and discussion, with no performance involved.
