What is the dramatic reading club
The dramatic reading club at HUB Cultural Cabanyal devotes its session on 18 December 2026 to «Juego de noches. Nueve obras en un acto», a collection of short plays by Madrid-born playwright Paloma Pedrero. The event involves reading and discussing theatrical texts in a group, a format the HUB has previously included in its literature programme, always with free admission.
The book brings together nine one-act plays by Pedrero, an author who, according to reviews, is part of the significant number of female playwrights who emerged in Spain from the early 1980s.
Who leads the session
The session on «Juego de noches» features Isabel Caballero, Víctor Huertas and Paqui Martínez. Isabel Caballero regularly takes part in this dramatic reading club at HUB Cultural Cabanyal, which in November 2026 focused on «Los que comen tierra» by Mafalda Bellido Monterde.
Where it takes place
HUB Cultural Cabanyal is the cultural platform of the Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighbourhood in Valencia’s Poblats Marítims district, offering a programme of workshops, exhibitions, performing arts, music and literature, all with free access.
