What is DeRobert & The Half-Truths
DeRobert & The Half-Truths is a raw soul and modern funk band based in Nashville, led by vocalist DeRobert Adams (Memphis) and drummer/producer Nick DeVan. Their sound blends gritty gospel-influenced vocals with punchy brass sections, reviving the essence of 60s and 70s soul with contemporary energy. They’ve released several LPs and 45rpm vinyl singles, sharing stages with artists like Black Joe Lewis and The Honey Bears and St. Paul and The Broken Bones.
