What is DEKA València 2027
DEKA València 2027 is a fitness competition organised by SPARTAN Spain, testing participants' strength, endurance, and determination. The event features 10 functional exercise stations interspersed with running segments, designed to measure personal progress regardless of fitness level. Available categories include:
- DEKA FIT: 10 stations + 5 km race (500 m between each zone).
- DEKA FIT Teams: relay for pairs with the same format as DEKA FIT.
- DEKA MILE: 10 stations + 1 mile (160 m between zones), accessible for all levels.
- DEKA MILE Teams: relay for pairs in the DEKA MILE category.
According to the organisers, the average duration of DEKA FIT is around 44 minutes.
Schedule and categories
The event takes place on 3 and 4 April 2027 at Tinglado 2 in La Marina de València, with the following preliminary programme:
Saturday 3 April:
- DEKA FIT Teams: 8:00 - 16:55.
- DEKA FIT Teams awards ceremony: 17:45 - 18:00.
- DEKA MILE Teams: 17:30 - 20:00.
- Bib collection: 7:00 - 19:45.
Sunday 4 April:
- DEKA MILE: 8:00 - 9:15.
- DEKA FIT (Age Group/Elite categories): 9:15 - 14:00.
- Age Group & Elite awards ceremony: 15:00 - 15:20.
- Bib collection: 7:00 - 13:30.

Prices and tickets
Registrations are now open on the official SPARTAN website, with the following initial prices:
- DEKA FIT Teams (3 April): €72.
- DEKA MILE Teams (3 April): €50.
- DEKA MILE (4 April): €72.
- DEKA FIT (4 April): €89.
The ticket includes participation in the competition, bib number, and access to the awards ceremonies. SPARTAN offers the option to transfer or postpone entries under their terms.
Access and requirements
DEKA València 2027 is open to participants of all levels, with no age restrictions. Athletes can register individually or in pairs for team categories. The organisers recommend checking the athlete guide to prepare for the competition.
Those interested in volunteering as referees will receive a free registration code to compete in any DEKA event in Spain during the season.
