What is Dancing Abba
Dancing Abba is a tribute show to the Swedish group ABBA, combining live music, choreography, and audiovisual technology. According to La Rambleta, the production includes 24 songs in their original versions—such as Mamma Mia, Money, Money, Money, Voulez-Vous, and Waterloo—performed by 10 musicians from the Spanish pop-rock scene and 16 dancers trained at the Conservatori Professional de Dansa de València. The choreography, created by Rocío Reolid, along with elements like LED wristbands, a photocall, and projections, aims to deliver an immersive and participatory experience.
Who performs
The artistic team consists of 26 people on stage: 10 musicians and 16 dancers and animators. The show is directed by Rocío Reolid, a dancer and choreographer, and produced by La Movida Valenciana, which has brought the performance to theatres in Mallorca, Pamplona, Cartagena, and Zaragoza, attracting over 20,000 spectators in the past year.
