What the event explores
«La poesía actual ante la paternidad» is a poetic conversation about the bonds between parents and children, and between children and parents. Three poets—José Luis Díaz, Ramiro Gairín, and Víktor Gómez—will read excerpts from their books Atlas en rojo (La Tortuga Búlgara), La vibración del mundo (RIL), and El que está en el aire (Ediciones Contrabando) to reflect on what is inherited, what is transformed, and what is left behind. Themes such as memory, absence, care, and identity run through their verses, serving as a starting point for an open dialogue with the audience.
Who is taking part
The poets José Luis Díaz, Ramiro Gairín, and Víktor Gómez are the three voices leading the event. Each offers a distinct perspective on parenthood: Díaz through the rawness of everyday life, Gairín with a sensory approach, and Gómez through fragility. Their works, published by independent labels, address generational transmission as a territory of questions, not answers.
Format and access
The event consists of a poetry reading followed by a moderated conversation, with no fixed structure. Entry is free and no prior booking is required.
