What is the Circuit d’Hivern de Vóley Platja 2026-2027
The Circuit d’Hivern de Vóley Platja 2026-2027 is the first event of the regional winter beach volleyball calendar, organised by the Federación de Vóleibol de la Comunitat Valenciana (FVBCV) in collaboration with the club BeachBol Valencia. Held at the Instalación Municipal de Vóley Playa, this event marks the start of a circuit that will visit five venues across the Comunitat Valenciana: Valencia, San Joan d’Alacant, Benicàssim, Gandía, and Alicante. According to the FVBCV, this event establishes Valencia as a key hub for beach volleyball in the region, combining amateur participation with professional competition and international presence.
Who is taking part and in which categories
The competition brings together 200 athletes from 10 countries in men’s and women’s 2×2 categories. Saturday, 24 October, is dedicated to the amateur competition, while Sunday, 25 October, is reserved for the professional category. The FVBCV highlights that this structure allows both local players and international teams to compete over the same weekend, with a format that prioritises accessibility and high performance.
Schedule and event programme
The event takes place over two full days, with matches running from early morning until the venue closes. The FVBCV does not provide specific timings for each phase but confirms that the venue opens at 9:00 and closes at 22:00, following its usual schedule. Participants can check the competition draw and final timings on the official circuit website the day before the event starts.
Access and requirements
Entry is free for spectators, with no prior registration required. The venue features seating to watch the matches from the playing area. Athletes must complete their registration via the forms available on the FVBCV website, where technical requirements for each category (age, federation licence, and skill level) are also specified.
