What Nepal Nepal offers
Nepal Nepal is a Madrid trio formed by Samu, Pablo, and Juan—three 20-year-old musicians who fuse drum machines, synthesizers, and dirty guitars with pop melodies "to sound like FIFA 12". Their sound, produced by Carlos Sennacheribbo and Luis de Oleza (Cora Yako), mixes nostalgia for 2000s guitar rock with contemporary electronics, drawing inspiration from bands like Carolina Durante and LCD Soundsystem. Their Spanish-language lyrics tackle themes like love, youthful uncertainty, unbearable neighbors, and the contradictions of capitalism. In November 2024, they released their debut EP, Romper en caso de emergencia, and in 2026, they’ll present their first LP live.
