On October 28, CC Nave3 Ribes celebrates International Animation Day with 'Cañas y Frames', a casual gathering to share portfolios from Fine Arts students (UPV), works in progress, and gifs. Free entry with drinks courtesy of the venue.

What is Cañas y Frames

A free and relaxed gathering for Valencia’s animation community: students, professionals, and enthusiasts. Organised as part of International Animation Day, the event includes a review of portfolios from Fine Arts students at UPV, showcasing their animation projects and idents. There will also be space to discover works in progress (WIP) and gifs, perfect for exploring new projects and making connections in the industry.

Programme and participants

The event is open to anyone interested in animation, with no prior registration required. UPV students will share their creations, while attendees can engage with them in a friendly setting. The session will also promote the Prime the Animation! Festival, now in its 14th edition in Valencia (October 24–31) under the theme Freedom.

Timing and access
