Who are Apolo
Apolo is an emerging pop-rock band from Catarroja (Valencia), led by Pau Sánchez (vocals, guitar, and songwriter). With an average age of 19, the group has stood out in the alternative Spanish scene by combining bright melodies with melancholic lyrics, irony, and double meanings. Their sound draws from British rock (The Smiths, David Bowie, Arctic Monkeys), glam, and Spanish post-punk (Parálisis Permanente, Los Ronaldos).
Selected for Cànter 2026—a music industry acceleration programme by the Valencian Federation of the Music Industry (FEVIM)—they have gained support from media outlets like Mondo Sonoro, Ruta 66, and Radio 3. They have performed at venues such as 16 Toneladas, Sala Euterpe, and Hard Rock Café Valencia, as well as festivals like Sons al Botànic and Carnaval Eléctrico.
