What’s being screened
On Monday 26 October, the Anime Saikuru cycle revives «Paprika, Detective of Dreams» (2006), the animated film directed by Satoshi Kon and based on the novel of the same name by Yasutaka Tsutsui. The story follows psychiatrist Atsuko Chiba, who develops a revolutionary therapy method called «PT»: an experimental machine that allows entering patients’ dreams to treat their anxieties. When one of the prototypes is stolen, it begins to be used to invade the minds of its creators, destroying their personalities while they sleep. The film, considered a classic of the genre, combines innovative animation with a complex narrative exploring the boundaries between reality and dreams.

The screening starts at 7:30 PM and ends around 9:00 PM, indicating an approximate duration of two hours. It will be shown in original version with Spanish subtitles (VOSE).
