Programme and artists
On 16 April 2027 at 19:30, Sala Iturbi at the Palau de la Música de València will host a symphonic concert featuring a programme that blends three major works from the Romantic and post-Romantic repertoire. Violinist Alexandra Conunova will be the soloist in Sergei Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 63, a piece composed in 1935 renowned for its fusion of lyricism and modernity. The Orquesta de València, under the baton of South Korean conductor Shiyeon Sung, will also perform Franz Liszt’s Les Préludes, S.97 and Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 3 in F major, Op. 90.
This concert is part of the Abono 33 subscription for the Palau de la Música’s 2026-2027 symphonic season, though single tickets are also available.
Programme details
- Franz Liszt: Les Préludes, S.97: A symphonic poem composed in 1854, inspired by verses by Lamartine. Approximate duration: 16 minutes.
- Sergei Prokofiev: Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 63: A three-movement work (Allegro moderato, Andante assai, Allegro ben marcato) written in 1935. Duration: around 28 minutes.
- Johannes Brahms: Symphony No. 3 in F major, Op. 90: Composed in 1883, this symphony consists of four movements and lasts approximately 35 minutes.
The total duration of the concert, including intervals, is around 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Tickets are available in four price categories: €10, €15, €20, and €30 (the latter being premium seating). There is also a discounted rate of €20 for eligible groups. Tickets can be purchased on the Palau de la Música’s official website. Subscribers to the Abono 33 already have their seats secured for this concert.
