What the Ultrasons 2026 festival offers
Ultrasons: Músiques en Vibració turns L’Alcora into a laboratory of musical and artistic creation throughout October 2026. This 17th edition features 15 free proposals exploring genres such as electronic, folk, jazz, scenic poetry and street music, as well as initiatives like Sonoscopi to recover local sound heritage. Active since 2009, the festival champions the periphery as a space for innovation, linking music, visual arts and territory.
Who’s performing this year
The lineup includes artists like Mar Pujol (experimental music), Eneritz Furyak (Basque electronic and folk), Baptiste Bailly (contemporary jazz), the collective 413x and Versonautas (street music). It also highlights local projects that revive traditional sounds from the l’Alcalatén region.
Dates and access
The festival runs from 2 to 31 October 2026 across various venues in L’Alcora. All activities are free to attend, with no prior booking required. Concerts and performances take place at varying times, typically in the late afternoon or evening.
What makes Ultrasons unique
Unlike other festivals, Ultrasons goes beyond concerts: it integrates workshops, sound installations and collaborations with visual artists. Its commitment to creation from the periphery and genre hybridisation makes it a benchmark for the alternative scene in Valencia and Catalonia.
