La Mutant is Valencia's municipal space for live arts, in the former nave 3 of Las Naves, a set of grain warehouses near the port in El Grau. It reopened under this name in 2018, modelled on Barcelona's Mercat de les Flors: dance, circus, performance and music — almost everything except text-based theatre — plus artist residencies. Its seating is retractable: 220 seats, or up to 585 standing with it folded away. Festivals such as Bucles and TruenoRayo pass through.
