What is XX Cortocomenius
The XX Cortocomenius is the Valencian short film festival organised by the Asociación Cultural Juan Comenius, reaching its twentieth edition in 2026. Under the theme 'Escape in Cinema', the event showcases the best of local short films in two sections: official and non-official, featuring works by creators such as Guillermo Polo, Andrés López, Alícia Arnau, and Víctor Devesa.

The festival includes five screenings between 13 and 23 October 2026, alongside parallel activities. Highlights include a meet-up with director Avelina Prat and a filmmaking workshop led by Òscar Bernàcer, open to both professionals and students.
