The four short films in the session
On 15 October 2026, the XIV Autors en Curt cycle presents a documentary-focused session featuring four works selected by the Fundación SGAE and the Escriptors de l’Audiovisual Valencià (EDAV) association. Each short film is created by Valencian directors and explores different realities through unique perspectives:
- Microcosmos. Un gabinete de curiosidades: Directed and written by María Lorenzo, this piece offers a visual journey into everyday details often overlooked.
- Esto está frío: Iván Fernández de Córdoba handles both direction and script, reflecting on isolation and human connections.
- Las medidoras: Gustavo R. Cuneo documents a traditional profession and its adaptation to modern times.
- Los Mayos: Mar Navarro Herraiz closes the session with an ethnographic look at a popular festival in the Valencian Community.
Screening details
