What is Valencia Roll
Valencia Roll is a roller dance festival that transforms Tinglado 2 in Valencia’s port into a skating, music and dance hub for three days, from 6 to 8 November 2026. The event combines choreographed shows, workshops for all levels, roller jams (improvised skating sessions) and street skate activities in areas like La Marítima de Veles e Vents and the City of Arts and Sciences. On Sunday 8 November, the final day wraps up at Tinglado 2 with a paella and live music.
Programme and activities
The event includes:
- Skating workshops: for beginners and advanced skaters, led by specialised instructors.
- Roller jams: open sessions where skaters improvise choreographies to music.
- Choreographed shows: performances by roller dance groups and collectives.
- Moving route: a skate tour along the beach to Mirador de la Patacona.
- Paella and socialising: on Sunday 8 November, with food service from 14:30 to 15:30.
Access and requirements
No minimum age or prior requirements are specified for participating in activities. Workshops and roller jams are open to all skating levels. Bringing your own gear (skates, protective equipment) is recommended if you plan to take part actively, though it’s not confirmed whether rental or loan equipment will be available at the event.
