On 16 May 2027 at 19:00, the Iturbi Hall of the Palau de la Música in Valencia will host the third concert in the cycle dedicated to the complete symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven. The programme will be performed by the Staatskapelle Dresden, one of Europe’s oldest orchestras (founded in 1548), conducted by Daniele Gatti. This event is part of a symphonic subscription series featuring four concerts between 12 and 16 May 2027.
Programme
The concert includes:
- Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68, Pastoral: Composed between 1807 and 1808, it consists of five movements and lasts approximately 40 minutes.
- Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92: Written in 1811–1812, its performance lasts around 35–40 minutes.
- Work by R. Panfiti: World premiere of a newly composed piece.
The total duration of the concert, including intervals, is estimated at 2 hours and 30 minutes.
