On 13 May 2027 at 19:30, Sala Iturbi at the Palau de la Música de València will host a concert by the Staatskapelle Dresden, one of Europe’s oldest orchestras (founded in 1548), under the baton of Daniele Gatti. The programme features Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 36 and Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 55 “Eroica”, alongside the premiere of a new work by Spanish composer José Torres.
This concert is part of the 2026-2027 Symphonic Subscription at the Palau de la Música. It has not been confirmed whether additional dates will be scheduled to complete the Beethoven symphony cycle.
