Two Valencian proposals on one stage
The Músiques Valencianes cycle at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía presents a concert on 5 February 2027 that brings together two projects rooted in tradition and singer-songwriter music. Sons d’Embat: tradition with contemporary arrangements
Sons d’Embat, a group from Ontinyent, revives popular melodies from the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean, reinterpreting them with modern arrangements. Their sound centres on the diatonic accordion of Pau Barberà, blending Valencian, Basque, Leonese, Celtic, and flamenco harmonies. The band has crafted an original repertoire that, while staying true to its roots, incorporates contemporary influences.
Maria Faubel: intimacy and social critique
The singer-songwriter from Llíria, Maria Faubel, presents Miralls, her latest album. With voice and guitar, Faubel tackles social issues—such as gender violence, war, and injustice—as well as personal reflections on relationships and the passage of time. Her music aims to connect with audiences through emotion and critical awareness.

Tickets for the 5 February concert are available from €15. The Músiques Valencianes cycle continues in February with other artists, including Feliu Ventura, AnimalPersona, and Alejandro y María, as per the official Palau de les Arts programme.
