The 'Amb veu de dona' cycle
This concert is part of the sixth edition of the Amb veu de dona cycle, an initiative by Acció Cultural del País Valencià (ACPV). The project aims to address the gender imbalance in music stages and promote culture in Valencian. This edition’s lineup features artists from Valencia, Catalonia, and Menorca, creating a shared space among Catalan-speaking territories.
What to expect
Sara Roy’s setlist will include songs from both her albums, with a focus on Alter ego, where she tackles themes like social expectations and identity. Her luminous melodies pair with introspective lyrics, inviting reflection. The concert is not just a chance to enjoy her music but also to support a cycle that highlights the work of female creators in contemporary music.
