Sacred Music Across Two Eras
The Cor Jove de la Comunitat Valenciana presents Sacrum Novum, a concert that bridges sacred music from the Elizabethan period (16th-17th centuries) with contemporary works. Part of the Concerts al MuVIM 2026 cycle, the programme celebrates the museum’s 25th anniversary with a repertoire tracing the evolution of European religious music, from Renaissance roots to modern reinterpretations.
The event is free, but seating is limited: tickets are distributed on the day from 11:00 at MuVIM’s information desk. No advance booking is available.
The Concerts al MuVIM Cycle
Since its inception, MuVIM has included classical music as a complement to its cultural offerings. This annual cycle, featuring a curated programme, aims to promote musical heritage and foster dialogue between tradition and modernity. Sacrum Novum closes the 2026 edition, standing out for its focus on sacred music and its connection to European artistic history.
