What’s on screen
The 14th edition of Prime the Animation! features 58 international short films in competition, organised into 50-minute morning sessions on 28, 29 and 30 October. The screenings explore diverse techniques, styles and narratives under the theme “Freedom”, celebrating creative independence and innovation.
After each session, there will be talks with industry professionals.
Participants and activities
The festival includes 4 professional talks, 6 pitch projects and portfolio reviews, organised in collaboration with the UPV Animation Club. Taking part are Esther Morales, Maroto, Julia Skala, Cuervo Cuadrado, Juan Carlos Concha, Nacho Gallach, Alberto Corraliza, Rocío Gutiérrez and Carles Colomer.
The poster for this edition is designed by Julia Skala, who won an award in the previous edition.
Schedule and access
Screenings will take place in the auditorium of the UPV Faculty of Fine Arts. Entry is free and no booking is required, though capacity is limited. The talks are also open to the public.
