What is Play Time
Play Time, by Kanbahiota & Chisgarabís, is a clown and visual theatre show inspired by La nau dels bojos. The performance transforms misfits into free-spirited children who play outside the rules, blending impossible logic, unexpected impulses, and boundless freedom. Directed by Irene Poveda, the production aims to create a collective, absurd, and liberating experience where the audience joins in a game without limits.
Who performs
The cast features four performers: Rossina Castelli, Marcos García, Nerea Márquez and Gonzalo Menéndez. Based in the Community of Madrid, the company combines humour, circus, and contemporary dramaturgy to explore the clown figure from a transgressive perspective. Irene Poveda handles direction and dramaturgy, while production is managed by Producciones Chisgarabís.
Schedule and access
Play Time will be performed on Sunday 15 November at 12:00 in Doctor Gerardo Garcés Square, Xirivella, as part of the 33rd Mostra Internacional de Pallasses i Pallassos. Tickets cost €3 and there is no specified minimum age, making it open to all audiences.
