What’s being performed
«On display» is a dance-theatre piece created by Maria Mora and Katja Bukovic, grant recipients in the Migrats Dansa 2025 call. Designed as a scenic manifesto, the work addresses the complex role of the dancer in contemporary dance. Through two female performers, the piece questions the injustices and contradictions of a system they resist, blending movement, text, and performance to reflect on the body, the stage, and society.
Who’s performing
The creators and performers are Maria Mora and Katja Bukovic, emerging artists selected in the festival’s grant programme. Both develop a choreographic language that fuses dance and theatre, with a critical focus on power structures in the performing arts. No other performers or musicians appear on stage.
