Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia: Las divas del Pop, charity concert for Federación AICE at Palau de la Música

What is Las divas del Pop

«Las divas del Pop» is a concert by Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia featuring some of the most iconic songs by legendary pop artists—tracks that have shaped the musical memory of several generations. The event takes place in Sala Rodrigo at Palau de la Música as part of the Palau Solidari cycle.

According to Palau de la Música’s website, the quartet reinterprets these songs with original arrangements for string quartet and electronic beats. The ensemble describes their approach as pop hits transformed for strings, featuring tracks by artists like Dua Lipa or Rihanna, with a modern stage performance.

Who benefits from the concert

«Las divas del Pop» is a charity concert, with all proceeds going to Federación AICE, an organisation supporting people with cochlear implants. This device enables many deaf individuals to access sound and experiences like hearing a voice, enjoying a melody, or singing.

The connection between Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia and the federation goes back years: the group has previously performed several benefit concerts for AICE, including one at the Auditorio del Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo.
