Who’s performing: Kim Salmon
Kim Salmon is one of the most influential figures in Australian punk and rock. Since the late 1970s, he has fronted bands like The Scientists, Beasts of Bourbon, and Kim Salmon and the Surrealists, blending garage, psychedelic blues, and experimental noise. His style—a mix of the Rolling Stones, Sly Stone, and Phil Spector—has evolved into acoustic and country-infused projects, such as his album E(a)rnest (2002). For this show, he’ll play classics like Swampland, Frantic Romantic, and Last Night, alongside tracks from his latest project, Smoked Salmon.
