What’s performed
"Jagillé, el porquet verd blau" is a puppet and visual theatre show about a grey wild boar who, dreaming of being different, magically transforms into other animals: taking on the colour of a fish, the neck of a giraffe, and the mane of a lion. Unable to recognise his new identity, he embarks on a journey from the savannah to the city in search of answers. Created for family and school audiences, the production explores self-acceptance through a poetic and visual staging, combining live actors, rod puppets, shadows, and projections.
Who creates it and how
The production blends puppet theatre, projections, and live actors to create an immersive experience. Rod puppets and shadows bring characters to life with fluid movements, while projections set the scene—from savannahs to urban landscapes. Music and lighting enhance the dreamlike atmosphere, designed to captivate young audiences.
Who it’s for
Aimed at family and school audiences, it’s especially suitable for children aged 3 and up. The show lasts around 50 minutes, tailored to young attention spans. It promotes values like diversity and self-esteem through accessible visual language and a simple yet emotional narrative.
