Concert Programme
On 19 May 2027 at 19:30, the English Chamber Orchestra will perform at the Sala Iturbi in Palau de la Música as part of the Symphonic Subscription Series. Conducted by Roberto Forés, the concert will feature oboist Ramón Ortega Quero as soloist in a programme that includes:
- Serenade for Small Orchestra, op. 26 by Malcolm Arnold.
- Oboe Concerto in C major K.314 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
- Symphony No. 4 in A major, op. 90 "Italian" by Felix Mendelssohn.
Founded in 1948, the English Chamber Orchestra is one of the world’s most renowned chamber ensembles, while Ramón Ortega Quero is one of Spain’s leading oboists on the classical music scene.
