On 4 June 2027 at 19:30, the Iturbi Hall of the Palau de la Música de València will host a symphonic concert featuring two works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: the Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 and the Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36.
Violinist Diana Tishchenko will perform as soloist, accompanied by the Orquestra de València under the baton of Pinchas Steinberg. The programme is part of the Palau’s symphonic subscription series.
Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto (1878) is one of the most demanding pieces in the Romantic repertoire, while the Symphony No. 4 (1877–1878) stands out for its dramatic intensity and emotional structure.
