Who are Crocodiles
Crocodiles are a noise pop, indie rock, and psychedelia band formed in San Diego (California) in 2008. Founded by Brandon Welchez (vocals and guitar) and Charles Rowell (guitar), the group solidified with the addition of Atef Aouadhi (bass) and Diego Dal Bon (drums). Their sound, influenced by bands like The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Archies, blends distorted guitars, catchy melodies, and raw lyrics, shifting between punk pop, garage revival, and bubblegum pop.
Their career and sound
Their debut album, Summer of Hate (2009), earned them recognition in the independent scene. With tracks like I Wanna Kill and Neon Jesus, the record captures their chaotic yet melancholic energy in nine songs under 34 minutes. While there’s no official setlist for this show, recent tours have included songs like Tony Montana, Conexiones, and Hijo de la Noche.
