What the Chris Dove tribute concert is
The Chris Dove tribute concert is a musical remembrance organised by the Valencian Irish Cultural Association (VICA), the Irish Cultural Association of Valencia, dedicated to one of its most beloved members, who passed away in May 2025. VICA describes him not only as a fantastic musician but also as an extraordinary person, and aims to honour his generosity, initiative, organisational skills, and the impact he left on those who knew him.
What will be performed
The tribute’s repertoire combines three types of pieces: songs he loved, others that his companions believe he would have enjoyed continuing to play with them, and melodies his friends associate with him. The evening is led by these same friends and VICA members, with the goal of remembering him in the best way possible.
Who can attend
The concert at CC Nave3 Ribes is open to everyone: neighbours, music lovers, and anyone wishing to join this tribute. It takes place at Nave3 Ribes, a community co-production space in Valencia’s Parque Central, on 8 November 2026.
