What will be performed
The concert by the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de València on 11 April 2027 features a programme with works by three composers: Concerto for Two Clarinets and Orchestra by Franz Krommer, Clarinet Concerto by Aaron Copland, and pieces by Astor Piazzolla. According to Palau de la Música, the selection blends Krommer’s Central European classicism, Copland’s neoclassical style, and Piazzolla’s symphonic tango, adapted for wind band.
