What’s being screened
«Al límite de la ciudad (A propósito de Burguitos)» is a 48-minute documentary that revisits the career of Valencian artist Fernando Burgos (Burguitos), a key figure in the local creative scene over the past decades. Directed by Paco Barreda, Carlos Sanchis, and Paco Martí over four years, the film features testimonies from musicians, visual artists, and writers such as Abelardo Muñoz, Ricardo Esteve, and Arístides Rosell. The screening, in Spanish with no subtitles, is part of the DOCS València 2026 programme.
Who’s taking part
The presentation will be led by journalist and writer Eduardo Guillot, who will also moderate the post-screening discussion. The Q&A will include the documentary’s three directors—Paco Barreda, Carlos Sanchis, and Paco Martí—as well as Fernando Burgos (Burguitos), the film’s protagonist. The session will also feature some of the collaborators who appear in the documentary.
Timing and access
The screening will take place on Friday, 30 October 2026 at 8:15 PM in Screen 3 at Cines Babel. No invitation or prior booking is required, and entry is free until capacity is reached. According to the DOCS València schedule, the event will not include an intermission.
