What the workshop includes
The True Crime Workshop is a hands-on experience designed for lovers of noir fiction and true crime. Led by Dáriel, a qualified criminologist, the workshop covers real criminal investigation techniques. Participants will learn to:
- Extract and analyse fingerprints from evidence.
- Identify types of autopsies and how they are performed.
- Distinguish injuries caused by bladed weapons.
- Locate and analyse bloodstains at a crime scene.
- Understand the rigor mortis process.
- Differentiate between vital and post-mortem injuries.
- Analyse alterations in documents.
- Determine whether a hair was shed, pulled, or cut.
At the end, participants will put what they’ve learned into practice by solving a real case based on the techniques covered during the session.
Who leads the workshop
The workshop is run by Dáriel, a qualified criminologist with experience in forensic techniques outreach. His practical approach allows attendees to experience first-hand how criminal investigations work, combining theory with interactive exercises.
