The 10th edition of Volumens culminates at 16 Toneladas with a proposal that fuses visceral electronic music and sonic avant-garde. On 17 October 2026, the festival wraps up its programme with Saint Abdullah & Eomac live and a set by DJ Marcelle, two projects that push the boundaries of genre and digital culture.
Who’s performing
Saint Abdullah & Eomac
A duo formed by brothers Mohammad and Mehdi (Iranian-Canadians based in New York) and Irish producer Ian McDonnell (Eomac). Since 2019, their long-distance collaboration has produced electronic music blending analogue gear, synthesis, and samples to create revolutionary sonic narratives. Their latest album, «When The Sandbox Has No Edge», will be presented in an official album-release performance in Valencia, featuring Lisa Randall (alias of Iñaki Abrego), linked to the Valencian label Explorations. They have released music on labels such as Other People, Planet Mu, and Drowned by Locals.
DJ Marcelle
Dutch artist Marcelle van Hoof is a key figure in the underground scene. With a collection of over 20,000 vinyl records, her style—self-described as «avant-garde ethno bass»—breaks conventions by mixing free jazz, leftfield techno, African polyrhythms, and Dadaist collages. A resident at Uganda’s iconic Festival Nyege Nyege, her set at Volumens promises three turntables in simultaneous rotation and an unclassifiable sonic experience.
