What is the Nightingale Gospel Quintet
The Nightingale Gospel Quintet is a vocal group inspired by the tradition of African-American female gospel choirs. Comprising four voices and a piano, the quintet offers a proposal that blends the vocal power, emotion, and spirituality of classic gospel with contemporary arrangements and touches of soul. Their repertoire includes everything from traditional pieces to updated versions, always with vocal harmony as the star, whether in a capella moments or accompanied by the piano.
Programme and style
The concert strikes a balance between soloists and ensemble, exploring the expressive intensity of gospel through voices trained in the Soulshine Voices choir. With references like Mahalia Jackson or the great female formations of the genre, the quintet creates an intimate and direct experience, where collective energy and shared emotion connect with the audience. The acoustics of CaixaForum Valencia, designed for live music, enhance the quality of this proposal.
Timing and duration
The concert will take place on Sunday 18 October 2026 at 18:30 and is expected to last 1 hour and 15 minutes, without an interval.
Prices and tickets
Tickets are priced at a flat rate of €15. It is not specified whether there are discounts for groups such as students, seniors, or minors.
