Mouse on Mars, the German duo formed by Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma, brings its latest work, Spatial, No Problem, to Valencia—a collaboration with dub legend Lee "Scratch" Perry. This concert, part of the Volumens festival, marks the project’s first performance in Spain. The piece merges electronics, improvisation, digital textures and organic rhythms, defying conventional musical boundaries. With over three decades of innovation, the duo is renowned for reinventing sound through experimentation and collaborations with artists like Stereolab, Bon Iver and The National.
Who’s performing
The night will be headlined by Mouse on Mars, but they won’t be alone. Joining them are Dodo NKishi and Regis Molina, whose live sets will add layers of improvisation and sonic experimentation. Closing the evening is Valencian artist Sentuhlà—José Guerrero’s solo project—with a set oscillating between synthetic funk, mechanical repetition and experimental electronics. A rare chance to experience artists pushing genre limits.
Programme and duration
The concert is part of the 10th edition of the Volumens festival, dedicated to digital culture, sound art and electronic music. While the exact duration of each act hasn’t been confirmed, such events typically last 2 to 3 hours, starting with local or supporting artists and culminating in the main act: Mouse on Mars.
Prices and tickets
There’s a single ticket price: €10. No seating distinctions or tiered options—entry grants access to all performances. Tickets are already on sale via the festival’s and CaixaForum’s official channels. Given the experimental nature of the event and the artists’ prestige, early booking is advised.
