Programme of the day
The Ellas se reb(v)elan cycle presents a double session with two talks focused on gender perspectives in cinema and literature:
11:00 AM: The female gaze in cinema, by Áurea Ortíz, audiovisual researcher and critic. The talk will explore the role of women both in front of and behind the camera.
12:30 PM: The witch archetype in contemporary literature and cinema, with screenwriters Yolanda Barrasa and Elena de Torres. They will examine how this character has evolved in current narratives.
A 30-minute break will take place between sessions (12:00-12:30 PM).
Schedule and duration
The event will start at 11:00 AM and end at 1:30 PM. Each talk will last approximately 60 minutes, with a break in between. Attendance at both sessions is optional.
